中国美术学院风景建筑设计研究总院有限公司始建于1984年，于1994年正式成立设计院。具有城乡规划编制甲级资质、建筑行业（建筑工程）甲级资质、风景园林工程设计专项甲级资质、室内装饰设计甲级资质、市政行业专业乙级资质、文物保护工程勘察设计乙级资质、展览工程一级资质，可承担资质证书许可范围内相应的建设工程总承包业务及相关的技术与管理服务。企业通过了ISO9001、ISO14000、GB/T18001三合一体系认证、3A认证、信息技术和信息安全体系认证、知识产权管理体系认证。
设计院依托中国美术学院雄厚的学术背景和丰富的学术滋养，逐步实现规划与城市设计、建筑设计、园林景观、室内设计、公共艺术、灯光照明设计、产品和数字化设计等多专业的融合和产业延伸，已成为具有强烈人文关怀、勇于承担社会使命的企业。
经过多年的努力和发展，设计院已形成以综合分院、研究中心、设计工作室为构架的研究创作群体。企业在册员工近1500人，其中高级技术职称人员近300人，各类注册人员近200人。人才实力雄厚，而且汇聚一批影响行业发展的知名设计师。
创办至今，在各级主管部门领导的关怀与自身不断探索努力下，已经具有了相当的技术和创作积累，建成项目均获得良好的社会反响。设计完成的优秀项目层出不穷，多项作品获国际、国家级、省市级各类奖项。企业被各级政府授予“年度经济发展工作先进企业”“省级重点文化产业园区”“浙江城市有机更新领军企业”“特殊贡献企业”等荣誉称号。

The Design Institute of Landscape & Architecture, China Academy of Art Co., Ltd., founded in 1984 and officially established as a design institute in 1994, has been accredited with Class A for urban and rural planning, Class A for construction industry (construction engineering), Class A for landscape architecture design, Class A for interior decoration design, Class B for municipal engineering design, Class B for cultural relics protection engineering survey and design, and Class A for exhibition engineering. Backed by these credentials, the Institute is authorized to undertake engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) general contracting and provide related technical and management services within the approved scope. The Institute has passed a series of national and international management certifications: the Integrated Management System Certification (ISO9001, ISO14000, and GB/T18001), the 3A Enterprise Credit Certification, the Information Technology and Information Security Management System Certification, and the Intellectual Property Management System Certification.
Rooted in the strong academic foundation and rich scholarly heritage of the China Academy of Art, the Institute has progressively integrated multiple disciplines—including urban planning and design, architectural design, landscape architecture, interior design, public art, lighting design, as well as product and digital design—achieving cross-disciplinary collaboration and industrial expansion. It has grown into an enterprise deeply committed to humanistic values and courageous in fulfilling its social responsibilities.
After years of dedicated effort and development, the Institute has established a research and creative framework composed of integrated branches, research centers, and design studios. The Institute has nearly 1,500 employees, including nearly 300 professionals with senior technical titles and close to 200 licensed practitioners across various disciplines. With a strong talent pool, the Institute also brings together a number of renowned designers who have made a significant impact on the industry.
Since its inception, supported by authorities at various levels and driven by continuous exploration, the Institute has accumulated substantial technical expertise and creative achievements. Its completed projects have consistently received positive social recognition. A steady stream of outstanding design works has emerged, many of which have won awards at international, national, provincial, and municipal levels. The Institute has also been honored with titles such as “Advanced Enterprise in Annual Economic Development,” “Provincial Key Cultural Industry Park,” “Leading Enterprise in Urban Regeneration of Zhejiang,” and “Enterprise with Special Contributions” by governments at various levels.
